THE WELLNESS COMMUNITY - LOGO + IDENTITY PACKAGE DESIGN

Objective: To re-design the identity of a non-profit organization

Description: I had a choice of any non-profit organization in Indianapolis to re-design its identity. I chose the Wellness Community because they didn't even have a logo. When creating the logo, I chose to use an abstract form of the cell. To represent a cancerous cell, I of course chose the ominous color black. To represent life growing from that cell I drew a new sprouting plant. I thought this would be the best representation of what the organization does and the attitudes they promote.

Once I had the identity re-designed I carried it over to stationary for the organization. I chose to use the brown recycled paper, cardstock, and envelopes because it alludes to the idea of continuous life. The materials fit the overall message and attitudes of the organization. The stationary includes a letterhead, envelope and business card.
